Kadai chicken is delicious and mouth watery non-vegetarian delight of north India. This easy to prepare curry dish is popular for its simplicity and hence a favorite with all. | ||||
Ingredients : Chicken - 500gm |

Preparation : First process is the making of kadai masala :- Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan add 2 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp cumin powder, 1 tbsp garam masala (raw) followed by dry red chillies. Saute well. After 4-5 mins the ingredients to a mixy jar and grind well. Kadai masala is ready. Take another pan, heat some oil, add cumin, dry red chillies, green chilly, ginger garlic paste, onion and some salt. Saute well. Add ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chilly powder and 2 tbsp kadai masala again saute well. Add 500gm chicken marinated (with 1 tbsp chilly powder, ½ tbsp turmeric powder and salt) Add some water, salt and close the pan cook well for 15 mins Open the pan mix well and add tomato puri, chopped capsicum & onions Close the pan again and cook for 5 more mins. Open the pan and season with coriander leaves. Transfer in the curry to a serving bowl. Kadai Chicken is ready.. Serve it HOT!!!! |
