Cooking Method :
Lets first begin by preparing the masala. Add chopped garlic's into the blender along with chopped green chillies & ginger and continue to blend to make a paste out of it. Keep the blended ginger garlic chilly paste aside for later use..
Now lets cook the oats for preparing the batter. Keep a vessel under medium flame and add just enough water. Add oats and cook until it becomes soft and thick. Let it cool off. Mix the cooked oats with 2-3 tbsp of maida and 1-2 tsp of Raggi along with chopped onions using a spoon.
Add coriander leaves along with curry leaves for flavor, as well as red chilly powder, veg masala, ginger garlic paste and continue to mix well. Add salt to taste. Shape balls from the batter and fry them in hot oil until a crispy crust is formed. Drain excess oil by placing the pakodas in paper towels for a few minutes. Serve hot with sauce or salad. |
