Cooking Method :
For this we use Rice flour (puttu podi). Add some rava to it to make it more softer. with this add Cardamom and Dry ginger. Add the Mixture of Jaggery and Jackfruit.
First add Rice flour to this mixture (Jaggery and Jackfruit) and blend it well. Now add some Rava to it. To this add powder of Dry ginger and Cardamom. Add little water to it.
After mixing it well.. we keep it closed for almost one hour. Pour this mixture to the idli moulds.
Now steam the idlis in steamer or cooker. keep it for 10 - 15 mins. After that.. open the lid of the steamer and now your delicious chakka idli is ready... |
