Kanda Poha

Ingredients    
Beaten rice (Poha) - 1 cup
Oil - 1 ½ tsp
Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
Split black gram - ½ tsp
Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
Green chilly - 1
Onion medium - ½ (thinly sliced)
Potato - 1 small, peeled and diced
Lemon Juice - ½ lemon
Coriander leaves chopped -  
Salt - to taste
Water -

Method

Soak Poha in enough water to cover for 5 minutes, and drain by squeezing the water from it.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, black gram dal, turmeric powder, and slit green chilly.

When the mustard seeds splutter, add onion and potato and sauté for 5 minutes.

Add salt, little bit of water and cover the pan with a lid.

After 5 minutes remove the lid, add poha and sauté for another 5 minutes.

Turn off the stove and add lemon juice into it.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Now the dish is ready to serve...
