Ingredients :

Sliced onions - 4 nos
Corn flour - 1 cup
Gram flour - ½ cup
Red chilli powder - 2 tbsp
Asafetida powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - as required
Oil - for frying
Water - as required

Preparation :

First we have to make a batter.

Mix corn flour and gram flour… Put chilly powder, asafetida powder and required amount of water to make a thick batter. Put the sliced onions in to the batter and mix well. Make sure the onion slices are properly coated with the batter.

Place a pan on the stove… When it is hot, pour oil into it. When the oil is hot, take the thick batter with hands in the shape of small balls and fry them in the oil. Take time to fry the slices uniformly.. When the slices turn golden in colour, take it out from the oil...

Yeh.. Now the snack is ready to serve...
