Chand Minar is a 30 meter high tower located within the Daulatabad fort. It was built as a tower of victory by by Ala-ud-din Bahmani to commemorate his conquest of the fort in 1435 and supposed to be used as a paryer hall or a victory monument. Chand Minar is a four storied tower adorned with glazed tiles and carved motifs.
