Steamed Chicken Momos is a delicious South Asian recipe served as a Starter. Wrapped around a chicken filling, the dumpling is native to Nepal, Tibet & Sikkim. | |||||||||||||||||||

Preparation : Take a bowl, mix all-purpose flour with some water and salt to make a dry batter of smooth consistancy. Cover the batter with a wet cloth & keep for some time. Take a mixy jar and blend some boneless boiled chicken pieces along with butter ( 1 heaped tbsp) mix it well Put the mixture in a bowl and add chopped onion, carrot, cabbage and spring onion... Add ginger garlic paste, salt, garam masala, pepper powder & coriander leaves. Break an egg and add 1 tbsp vinegar and again mix it well. After that make a small balls from the maida batter and roll into shape of circles. Then keep masala in the middle of each circle & join the edges as shown. Steam the momos in a steamer for 10 to 20 mins. Then transfer chicken momos to a plate! Serve hot with momos special Tomato chutney. |
