Masala Roti

Ingredients :

   
Wheat flour + for dusting - 2 cups
Onions, finely chopped - 2
Green chillies,finely chopped - 2
Ajwain - 1 tsp
Ginger piece, finely chopped - 1 inch
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1/2 tsp

Cooking Method :

Dry roast Coriander seeds and Ajwain or Carrom seeds in a hot pan. After roasting, keep aside. Grind whenit is cool.

In a bowl, take finely chopped Onions, Green chillies, Ginger, Chat masala.

Then add main ingredient Atta to it. To the mixture add salt and mix it well.

Knead into a dough using sufficient water. At last add ground coriander and carrom seeds to the dough.

Apply oil and keep aside. Take few portions and roll into balls.

Dust with a little dry flour and roll each ball into a roti.

Heat the pan and place the roti over it. Roast on both sides.

Apply butter on both sides and cook till golden.

Serve it hot with some sabzi and enjoy!!
