Cooking Method:
To begin with, heat 1-2 tbsp of ghee in a shallow pan and lower the flame to medium mode. Add chopped chilli flakes into the Pan and sauté with a slotted spoon for 2 minutes. You may add Chopped Potato cubes into the pan and continue sautéing. Add 2 tsp of Garam masala and let the spicy masala blend with the Potato Cubes.
Now that the Masala has mixed well with the Potatoes, we can add 2 cups of Curd into the pan. Continue sautéing and bring the mixture to a boil, and then simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes, add Salt to taste. Finally your spicy dahi-Aloo is ready to serve. You can empty Dahi-Aloo into a glass bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Dahi-Aloo goes well with wheat Roti's or Wheat bread. |
