Preparation :
To make the batter mix rice flour and gram flour with required quantity of water. Add sesame, 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of red chilli powder and one tablespoon of Asafoetida powder to it. Please don't forget to add salt.
Put the pan in the stove and pour required quantity of oil for frying. Meanwhile dip the pappads in the batter. Make sure that both sides are well coated with the batter. Now carefully place the pappad in the oil. Turn both sides and fry till the pappads become crispy and golden brown.
Serve pappads with a hot cup evening tea or coffee.
Make sure you store the pappads in an airtight container.
