Mysore Bonda is basically batter balls, deep fried in oil, usually served with coconut chutney or Sambhar.

It is made with different batter from Refined flour (maida) to Riceflour and black gram flour combined together. Recipe from Sunitha, Gurgaon.

Ingredients:
Maida : 1/2cup
Curd : 1/2liter
Onions : 1
Green mirchies : 2(or)4
Salt : to taste
Curry leaves&Coriander leaves : some
Soda : 1pinch

Method:

First take maida & soak in curd for 4 hours. Add salt, onion pieces, coriander leaves, mirchi, baking soda & mix well and make round bondas.

Take oil in a bowl and keep it on the stove. When the oil heats up, gently add bondas one by one. When the bondas become golden colour, take it out. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
