The dargah of Baba Shah Muzaffar, situated at Panchakki road on the
left bank of Kham River near Begampura Bridge in Aurangabad, was built
in 1695 by the Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb as a memorial to his spiritual
advisor Baba Shaha Muzaffar. This dargah houses a mosque, a modest
tomb of the Sufi saint Baba Shah Muzzafar, a garden, an artificial waterfall
and a gushing fountain. The tomb is a small red plain structure surrounded
by a screen of cusped arches on stone pillars. The dargah has an extraordinary
watermill known as Pan Chakki built by Malik Ambar which draws water from
a spring on a distant hill at a distance of 6kms away.
