Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex
Located close to the Cellular Jail in the north-west Port
Blair, the complex offers water sports such as paddle-boats, row-boats, glass-bottom, bumper boats
as well as Jet Ski, para-sailing, banana boats, speed boats in a safe
environment.
Gandhi Park
This beautiful park at Port Blair with a lake, garden,
a Japanese temple, bunker and restaurant, developed from the erstwhile Diltaman tank, which was the only source of drinking water for Port Blair and the area around,
has facilities for amusement rides, safe water sports and nature trail. Open on all days.

Ross Island
Situated right across Port Blair, important ruins here include a church, cemetery, swimming pool, and chief commissioner's
residence. Smritika, a small museum of the Indian Navy, has a good collection of old records.

Zoological Survey Of Indian Museum - Located very
near to Naval marine museum, exhibits here include several varieties of sponges, corals, butterflies, centipedes etc. It is open on all working days except Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI)- CARI Scientists are conducting research on different aspects of Island Agriculture. Landscaping of CARI is very beautiful and it is worth seeing. Here you can see farms of different
livestock and poultry viz. Cattle, Pig, Goat, Rabbit, Turkey, Quail, Guinea Fowl, Duck, Fisheries Ponds, Integrated Farming System model etc and fodder blocks as well.
Beaches

Carbyn's Cove Beach - Located 6 kms away from Port
Blair, this palm fringed beach is ideal for swimming and sunbathing.
Strong currants calls for care while swimming. Part of Carbyn's cove
beach was washed away in the 2004 tsunami which hit Andaman. Facilities for
Scuba diving is available at Snake Island right
across the beach.

North Bay Beach - Located north of Port Blair,
coral reefs are spread over a large area here and Snorkeling
facilities are available. There is a light house, and private facility
for Sea Walk here. i.e underwater walk on the sea bed (6-7m depth) enjoying the exotic marine life in their natural habitat accompanied by trained
divers/guides. Netted boundaries along an anchored boat makes your experience amazing, safe and comfortable.
Tickets for Sea Walk can be purchased from
Rajiv Gandhi Water sports Complex. There are Private ferry service at 9am and 2
pm from Aberdeen Jetty across North Bay, and
back after a three hour stay. It takes 30 minutes to reach.

Munda Pahar beach - Located around 30kms from Port
Blair and 3kms from Chidiya
