Unlike the usual French Toast, here's a lightly spicy Indian Version..

Recipe from Tia Dutta, Kolkata.

Ingredients :
Egg	- 1 no
Onion	- 1 no
Green chilli	- 2 no
Salt	-	a bit
Butter	- as required
Bread	- 4 slices

Method :

In a bowl break an egg, add chopped onion, green chilli and a bit of salt and mix the batter.

Heat a tbsp of oil in a non-stick pan. Take a piece of bread, butter on one side and coat it with the batter on the other side, and put this side of the bread in the pan and shallow fry.

Turn over the bread and repeat the same process.
