Gobi Paratha

Ingredients :

Wheat Flour (Atta) - 2 cups
Cauliflower - 4 cups
Carom Seeds & Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Green Chillies - 2
Tumeric Powder - ¼ tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Crushed Pepper - 1 tsp
Amchur Powder - ½ tsp
Cilantro - ¼ cup
Oil - 2 tblsp
Water - as required
Salt - to taste

Preparation :

To make dough Mix together the flour and salt and add water little by little and keep kneading to make a soft dough. Add few drops of oil to smoothen out the dough. Keep it aside.

Now to make the filling heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, carom seeds. along with ginger garlic paste, green chillies and turmeric powder. Saute for some time.

Add the shredded cauliflower along with required salt, garam masala, pepper powder, amchur powder and mix well. Then close it with a lid and cook on a medium flame till it is done.

Finally open the lid mix in the chopped cilantro and switch off.

Now to make the parathas take some lemon sized portions from the dough and roll each into a small circle(about 3-4").

Put about 2 tblsp of cooked cauliflower as filling in the center. Pull the egdes of the dough together around the filling to seal it.

Flatten it gently using a rolling pin. While rolling, sprinkle some wheat powder on it.

Now heat a griddle or tawa and place the rolled parathas on it. apply few drops of oil / ghee on one side and cook both sides till brown sports appear.

Gobi Paratha is ready, serve warm with curries or raita.
