Cabbage salad is one of the easiest salads one could prepare in 15 minutes. It is served at moderate temperature and categorized as an appetizer to stimulate the appetite as the first course of the meal.

Ingredients :

   
Cabbage Chopped - 2 cups
Onions Chopped - ½ cup
Coconut Oil - 1-2 tsp
Lemon - ½
Vinegar - 1-2 tbsp
Salt - ½ tsp

Cooking Method :

Add 2 cups of chopped cabbage into a glass bowl. Chinese cabbage is preferred for more taste. To this add ½ cup of thinly chopped Onions and half a tsp of salt or as required. To further improve the flavor, include juice of half lemon and 1-2 tbsp of vinegar and optionally you could add a pinch of sugar. Whip the chopped veggies lightly to blend the flavor until the desired consistency is achieved. Your cabbage onion salad is ready to serve.

Cabbage onion salad can also be served with a dressing, as well as various garnishes such as nuts.
