Cooking Method :
Lets switch on the flame. we are cooking in a mud uruli. Uruli is hot now. So, at first we pour some coconut oil into it. After that put around 1 tsp of mustard seeds. Let the mustard pop out well, then add 2tsp of chopped ginger to it. Similarly we will add garlic too. We add it for its flavour. Saute well till it gets fried.
Next we will add our main ingredient chilli paste. i.e green chillies lightly crushed in a mixer. Nice flavour of green chilli rises up, now lets add chopped shallot. Few curry leaves also. All these are sauted well and now lets add 1/2 tsp salt to it. Add 1 tsp of garam masala to it. When masala blends well with allother we will add 3tsp of cashew paste to it.. Keep it on a low flame. Now lets add 1 cup of boneless chicken pieces to it. We have covered the cashew paste all over the chicken. Now we will add second milk of coconut, which we have kept aside. It appears to be greenish now, lets add some more salt to it. Now lets close it with a lid for 10 mins. Now its turn to add the first milk of coconut. Pachamulakku chicken is spicy and it is best to serve with appam and puttu. We will garnish it with two green chillies.. along with curry leaves. |
