Tarun Arora, the model turned actor came into the limelight when he won the
Gladrags Manhunt, in 1998. Tarun who developed a unique style of his own,
bagged some big campaigns with names like Mc Dowell's whisky, LG
air-conditioners, and BSL Suitings. At six feet, with one of the new wave
bodies - all lean, taut and well defined, this handsome hunk soon became a
dream model. Tarun's stint as a model helped jump-start his acting career.
He entered Bollywood with the film 'Hawas' (2004), then came 'Sheen', but,
both failures at the box office. He also featured in a music video 'Forget
Me Not' by Jagjit Singh, and another one by Udit Narayan. Before entering
the showbiz world, this professionally trained hospitality Manager was
working in a five star hotel in Bangalore and one day hopes to start a
restaurant of his own.
