Mammooty, the Megastar of Malayalam movies and counted amongst the finest talented actors of Indian Cinema is residing at Chennai with his family. A lawyer by qualification, Mammootty has always wanted to be an actor. He made his debut in the Malayalam movie 'Devalokam' which never saw the light of the day. Later he captivated the audience with his vibrant talent in more than 300 movies. His profound looks, baritone voice and thick moustache underline his qualities of manliness. The fifty plus actor maintains his body well and still looks trim and smart. In 2005, he is reigning in Kerala with an unbelievable stream of hits, 7 hits films within 13 months. He has got four national awards and numerous state and other awards. India Government has honoured him with the Padmashri award for his outstanding contributions to Indian Cinema.
