Since 'Rang De
Basanti' (2006) became a hit,
Kunal Kapoor (Kunnu) is a nation-wide figure. Coming from a family
that is into the construction business, Kunal's tryst with cinema
began when he started as assistant director with Rakesh Mehra's
'Aks' (2001). A deadly combination of boyish good looks and talent,
this 6 foot 2 inches handsome hunk debuted as the rough hero of
M F Husain's 'Meenaxi' (2004). He has done a number of plays and
has worked with Motley, a theatre group by Naseeruddin Shah. He
has done a couple of ads also. A film-buff, Kunal loves
everything that goes into the making of a film- editing, cinematography,
production design and all the other technicalities. The popular
shirt brand, Indian Terrain has signed on Kunal Kapoor
to endorse its range of products. |
