Jimmy alias Jasjiet Shergill, an actor in his own rights is settled in Mumbai with his wife Priyanka and son. Before entering films, he took acting lessons from Rohan Taneja's school for a year. Then he got a break in Gulzar's 'Maachis' (1996), in which his performance was appreciated. Another film 'Mohabbatein' (2000) which came with a large star cast brought Jimmy Shergill into the limelight. In between he also did a couple of Music videos. After climbing the ladder of success in a slow but steady manner, Jimmy is too cautious to get caught by the heady feeling of success.
