Vijay Singh Deol, popularly known as Bobby Deol, the tall,
handsome son of the famous film star Dharmendra, brother of actor Sunny Deol
and actress Esha, has inherited his father's well known
humility, acting talent and the gorgeous physique. He made his debut in a
romantic lead in 'Barsaat’ in 1995, a home production of Dharmendra’s Vijayta
Films directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi. Though the film was not successful,
assets in the form of good looks and a good deal of patience slowly led him
to the path of success. Flops like 'Aur Pyar Ho Gaya' (1997), 'Kareeb'
(1998) and 'Dillagi' (1999) pulled him down by a few steps, but 'Gupt'
(1997), 'Soldier' (1998), 'Badal' (2000), 'Bichoo' (2000), 'Ajnabee' (2001),
helped him regain some
ground and make up for the set back.
Bobby Deol's personal image continues to be that of a protected younger
son. He attributes his strength to the support of his family and lovely
wife Tanya. |
