Deva Sharif

Deva Sharif, the tomb of Sufi saint of Syed Haji Waris Ali Shah is located at a distance of around 39 kilometers from Lucknow in Barabanki. This religious shrine is a live example of Hindu-Muslim unity. Urs Festival held here during the months of October - November attracts a large number of devotees. The festival is celebrated to honour the saint Syed Haji Waris Ali Shah, who influenced the lives of many generations of people with the message of universal love for humanity.
