The clock tower alias Ghari Minar is located near to the Rumi Darwaza in between the Bara Imambara and Chhota Imambara. Built in 1880 by Nawab Nasir-ud-Din Haider, it is the best example of the European artistic and structural skills. This huge tower is one of the tallest Clock Tower in India which measures to a height of 67 m. Designed by Roskell Payne, the tower reflects Victorian-Gothic structural designs. Although it is called as Satkhanda or 'tower of seven stories’, the clock tower now stands incomplete with only four stories because of the abandonment of the construction after the death of Ali Sha.
