Amausi Airport also called as Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport is situated about 10 Kms. from Main Railway Station, Lucknow. The airport belongs to the AAI and is the second busiest airport in north India after Delhi. Lucknow airport is directly connected with Delhi, Patna, Kolkata, Mumbai and Varanasi by direct flights and is served by many international and domestic carriers.

Charbagh Railway Station and the Lucknow Junction Railway Station are the nearest railheads of Lucknow. Situated 3 km from the heart of the city, the Charbagh Railway Station is served by the Northern Railways. Main trains passing through this station are Shatabdi Express, Sabarmati Express, Nainital Express and Lucknow Mail.
Lucknow Junction Railway Station, situated towards the south-west of the city is served by the Northern and North Eastern Railways. The station is well connected with most of the cities and towns in the northern part of India. Mumbai-Gorakhpur Express, Shatabdi Express, Gomti Express (New Delhi-Lucknow),Vaishali Express ( New Delhi- Barauni) are the important trains passing through this station.
Road :
The Charbagh Bus Station and the Kaiserbagh Bus Station are the two major bus terminals of Lucknow. Charbagh Bus Station, situated near the Charbagh Railway Station operates buses to Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Agra. Kaiserbagh Bus Station run by Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC.) is situated near the Lucknow Junction Railway Station. From this station regular bus plies to Delhi, Gorakhpur and Faizabad.
