Arsi Vilas is an exclusive island located on the western coast of Lake Pichola just behind Jag Niwas. The place at Arsi Vilas was built by Maharana Arsi Singh to enjoy the sunset from the middle of Pichola lake. The most interesting feature is that the palace has a lower platform at the back, which serves as a helipad when required. Arsi Vilas island also serves as a sanctuary catering to a variety of birds, including tufted ducks, coots, egrets, terns, cormorants and kingfishers.
