Udaipur Lake Palace, initially known as Jag Niwas Palace, located amidst the scenic Pichola Lake on Jag Niwas island is one of the most romantic places in the world. This beautiful white-marble and granite structure was build in 1746 by Maharana Jagat Singh II, as a summer residence of the rulers.
