Air :
Jodhpur Airport (JDH) is a civil enclave airport located 5km from
Jodhpur Railway Station in South Jodhpur. Major airlines operating from
Jodhpur Airport are Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Air Sahara, Kingfisher
Airlines and Spice Jet. The city is connected by direct flight from Delhi,
Mumbai, Udaipir and Jaipur. As the airport is located in the cantonment
area, it is managed by the Indian Air Force. The office of Indian Airlines,
located on Airport road is open daily from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 4.30pm.

Jodhpur Junction Railway Station (code : JU), situated in the city center
is an important railway station of North Western Railways. The station
is served by several trains from different places of the country. Both
metre gauge and broad gauge services are available from here. Shatabdi
Express and inter-city Express are the major trains passes regularly through
Jodhpur Railway station.
The railway booking office is located on Station road, between the railway station and Sojati Gate. From Monday to Saturday, the office remains open from 8am- 1.45pm and 2 pm- 8pm and on Sundays, the service is available from 8 am - 1.45pm only. The Indrail Pass service is available in Jodhpur railway station, exclusively for foreign tourists and Indian nationals, residing abroad.

Jodhpur private bus stand is situated to the south of the city, few kilometers
east of the Jodhpur Junction Railway Station. Rajasthan State Transport
Corporation (RSTC) and private buses connect the Jodhpur city with all
major towns and cities of the state.
Local Transport :
For local transport in the city, taxis, auto-rickshaws and tongas are
available. Main taxi stand is located near Jodhpur railway station. Auto-rickshaws
are best suited for traversing the narrow lanes of the old city. Jodhpur
is a good place to explore by bicycle.
