Unakal Siddeshwara Jatra Mahotsava most popularly known as Unkal Jatra Mahotsava is a weeklong religious programme held at the 110 years old Unkal lake. The festival ends with the ratha yatra of Sri Siddappajja. The idol of Sri Siddappajja will be carried out on a decorated car along the streets of Unkal which is accompanied by devotees carrying 'poorna kumbha' and folk artistes with their lively performances. Several cultural programmes will be organised throughout the week as a part of the mahotsava.
