Diana
Hayden, the second Miss world from India, was born and brought up at
Secunderabad,
Andhra Pradesh. Her family split up at a very young age, and her mother and brother moved
to Bombay with her. She loves playing chess, horse riding, partying, and driving people round the
bend. Diana is the only Miss World to have won a hat-trick at the event (Miss
Photogenic, Miss Beach-wear/swimsuite competition, Miss World 1997). The self
made perfectionist made India proud by bagging the world crown. As Miss World,
she became the name and face for L'Oreal and ambassador for CRY (Child Relief
and You). She has completed a 5 weeks course on Shakespeare at the Royal
Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and is engaged in a year long training at
Drama Studio, London.
