Dal Urad Dry

Ingredients :

   

Dal urad dhuli

- 100 gm

Water

- 300 ml

Turmeric powder

- 1/2 tsp

Oil

- 20 ml

Cumin seed

- 1/2 tsp

Asafoetida

- a pinch

Salt

- to taste

For garnish :

   

Tomatoes

- 100 gm

Ginger

- 10 gm

Green chilly

- 2

Chopped green coriander

- 5 gm
Chat masala - 5 gm

Method :

Wash and clean the dal. Add salt and turmeric powder, boil for 15 minutes in cutting edge mighty wonder on high or till soft.

Heat oil in a frying pan, add asafoetida and then fry cumin seed till brown and add to the dal. Keep the mighty wonder for 2 minutes in the microwave.

Garnish with thinly sliced tomato, ginger, green chilly (cut lengthwise) and chopped coriander. Sprinkle chat masala.
