Rice Flakes Laddu

Ingredients :

   

Rice flakes (Aval)

- 1 cup

Grated coconut

- 1/2 cup

Sugar 

- 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder

- 1/4 tsp

Ghee

- 2 tbs
Cashew nuts - 5 nos

Method :

Fry rice flakes in a pan till crisp. Remove from fire, keep it aside and allow to cool. Grind it with sugar and coconut. Do not add water. Transfer this to a vessel and add cardamom powder. Mix well.

Cut the cashew nuts into small pieces. Heat ghee in a pan and add the cashew nuts. Sauté it and add the prepared rice flake powder in it. Mix it well and remove from fire. Shape into laddus (small balls).
