Preparation :
Mix water, milk, yogurt & powdered sugar and stir well.
Sieve the flours, baking powder, baking soda along with salt and mix the flour with the liquid mixture that we made. Knead to make a smooth dough, if the dough looks dry then add some water and knead again. The dough should be smooth and soft.
Keep the dough aside and after 10 minutes, add oil and knead the dough again.
Make medium sized balls of the dough and sprinkle some sesame seeds on it.
Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a four or five inches round circle.
Place the naan on a hot tava or griddle and partly cook both the sides.
Now with the help of tongs place the naan on fire and cook both sides till they get browned and slightly charred.
When done, take off the naan from the heat and apply some butter or ghee on both sides. You can have them plain also.
Serve the naan hot.
