 Cooking Method :

Prepare Masala by grinding ingredients such as grated coconut, 1/4 tsp mustard seeds, cumin seeds and dry red chillies along with half glass water. Grind till you get a thick paste and keep it aside.

Meanwhile Chop ripped plantain into medium size pieces. Keep a vessel on the stove on medium flame. Add four glasses of water along with chopped banana slices and let it boil. Add powdered jaggery into the vessel and mix well until jaggery fully dissolve into water. Add turmeric powder and salt and sauté well.

To this add formerly made ground paste, mix well and cook for just a minute. Splutter some mustard seeds and cooking oil along with curry leaves. Pour this seasoning over the cooked Ethapazham Pachadi and your sweet Ethapazham Pachadi is ready.
