Cooking Method :

To begin with, add two tablespoons of cooking oil into the pan. When the oil heats up, add thinly chopped onions into the pan and sauté for sometime until the onion begins to soften. Add thinly chopped garlic along with cubed tomatoes into the pan and continue to sauté until the veggies turn translucent. Now its time to spice up your recipe, add a tsp of red chilly powder, garam masala and salt into the recipe. Add some more oil if it turns dry.

Add tomato sauce to the pan along with turmeric powder and stir until it blends well. Crack the eggs, one at a time, directly over the tomato mixture, making sure to space them evenly over the sauce. Here we have placed 3 eggs around the outer edge. Garnish shakshuka with crumbled paneer and cover to cook for 2 minutes. Once the eggs have properly cooked you can switch off the stove.

Shakshuka goes well with raw bread slices and is a perfect Break fast recipe to Jumpstart your day.
