Neyyappam is a traditional tea time snack from Kerala.

'Neyyappam' literally meaning 'Ghee pancake' in local language, is a sweet, made with rice flour, coconut & jaggery/sugar, deep fried in ghee!

Ingreidents:
Powdered Raw Rice - 250 g
Sugar - 200 g
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Coconut Oil - 1.5 cup

Method :

Mix powdered rice and sugar well and make it to a ball. Keep it for 7 days in the refregerator.

After 7days grind the coconut well and add this to the rice ball and make the entire stuff into a paste. Heat the oil well, preferably in a neyyappa chatty and pour the paste using a spoon and fry it... Now serve your delicious sweets to your dear ones.
