 How to Get there

Air :

Jaipur is the only International Airport in Rajasthan. The other airports are at Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer which opens only from 1st October to 31st March. The International Airport has Daily flights to Dubai. However most travelers arrive in Rajasthan through Delhi or Mumbai. New Delhi Airport is only 260kms from Jaipur. Indian Airlines and Jet Airways operate daily services to all airports in Rajasthan from New Delhi and Mumbai.

Rail : Rajasthan has well connected network of railways and well managed railway stations. Important Rajasthan towns are well connected by daily services from New Delhi, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and other principle cities of India. Rajasthan owns two world famous luxury trains named Palace on Wheels and Heritage on Wheels. 

Road : Rajasthan has an extensive network of bus services run by the state owned Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation. The corporation connects every conceivable hub to its regional principle town. There is a bus service from Delhi to Jaipur (260 km) at a frequency of almost one service every fifteen minutes. Similarly Agra-Jaipur (240 kms) is also well connected. Taxis and other cars can also be rented with or without drivers. Other Transportation vehicles such as autorikshaw, cycle Rickshaw, Tempos, Tongas (horse driven carriages)  etc are also available.
