Director Vinu Anand’s new film, 'Oruvan', starring Indrajith in the lead, is a film which tells the story of people who are involved in making fire crackers for a living. In this movie, his character name is 'Sivan'. Prithviraj, his brother, also plays the role of a police officer who has a great interest in festivals.

Rest of the cast includes Lal, Meera Vasudev, Shamna, Mala, Salim Kumar, Anand, Subaida, Geetha, Salam, Gayathri etc.The story is written by Reji Nair and the music by Mohan Sithara.

The films is produced by Ajith Varma and Saseendra Varma under the banner Varma Films. Shooting is progressing in Palghat.
