Bada Dosth, shot in and around Kochi under the banner of Corporate Films is directed by Viji Thambi. The director famous for his action thrillers this time tells the story of an underworld don, Bada Dosth (Suresh Gopi). Though he seemed to be with a cruel heart , he runs two charity organizations to the welfare of society. An able Police Commissioner, Zakir Ali (Manoj K Jayan), determins to take legal action against him. But all his attempts failed. In course of time Zakir Ali understands that Bada Dosth was earlier a police officer called Dayashankar whose family was destroyed by Geevarghese (Siddique), and that he only had the welfare of society in mind.

Suresh Gopi plays the lead with Jothirmayi as the heroin. Siddique who is the producer of the film plays a key role as Geevarghese. Rest of the cast includes Manikuttan, Cochin Haneefa, Vijayakumar, Riaz Khan, Kiran Raj, Vinod and Karthika. Meghna Naidu , the sexy item number girl from Mumbai makes a scorching debut in this film.

The story by Babu Pallaserri, promises to have fiery action and punch lines, the trade marks of Sureshgopi starrers. Saloo George is the cinematographer and Liberty Basheer, the distributor. music by M. Jayachandran will be a strong point of the film. Bada Dosth will hit the screens as a Ramzan release.
