After 'Chess', Dileep is getting ready to be a don in his next film titled 'The Don'. The main peculiarity of this film is that for the first time Shaji Kailas is directing Dileep.

This movie tells a revenge story of a poor village boy Unnikrishnan (Dileep), who is the victim of his parents's murder. When he grows up, he comes to the city and gets sucked into the underworld. Unnikrishnan is framed for murder that he has not committed. After he comes out of jail, he transforms into Mustafa the underworld don who call the shots in the city.

This movie will be an action entertainer with four fights by Mafia Sasi, Kanal Kannan and Super Subbaraayan. J.Pallaserry is writing the script of this film and the story is by M.Ranjith. Tamil actress Pooja plays the female lead as the character Shahida. The other star cast include Sai Kumar, Kochin Haneefa, Lal, Maniyan Pilla raju, Chitra Shenaye, Sukumari etc. The film is produced by Chandrakumar under the banner of Malavika Films. The film is expected to release in theatres by September first week.
