Director-turned-actor-producer-distributor Lal comes up with his Vishu release -
'Panthayakozhi' under the Lal Creations banner.
Lal, teaming up with director M.A. Venu casts Narein in the role of
an angry young man in Panthayakozhi. Narein plays Nandagopan, a young
man who struggles to take care of his mother and sister. He lost his
father at a very young age and is dependent on his uncle and aunt for a
living. His only relief are his thick friends Balu, Musthafa and Saiban.
The story unfolds as Nandan goes to Kalimuthupalayam in Tamil Nadu to
sell a house at his uncles instruction....
Lal
too plays a key role in the film as Bharathan's father, Tamil actress
Pooja of 'Pattiyal' fame plays the heroine, others in the cast include
Madhu, Janardhanan, Sudheesh, Anoop Chandran, Sreejith Ravi, Indrance, Cochin Haneefa, etc..
.The film is scripted by J. Pallassery based on a story by director M.A.
Venu. The directors earlier films were Chakoram and Kakakarumban. The
songs are beautifully tuned by Alex Paul to the lyrics of Vayalar
Sarathchandravarma. Given Lal Creations track record, the film with all
the right ingredients could turn out to be a hit. The film shot at
Ottapalam and Udumalpett is ready for release during Vishu.
