One of the most awaited films of the year, “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna” is Karan Johar’s third directorial effort after “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” & “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham”.

The story of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna revolves around the budding romance between Dev (Shahrukh Khan) Maya (Rani Mukerji) - both married to different people. Dev is married to Priya (Preity Zinta) and Maya is married to Rishi (Abhishek Bachchan). However, when Dev and Maya meet each other, they realize that their respective married lives lack the intensity of the love and attraction that they have for each other. When their feelings come to the fore, what results is a collision of lives and emotions, affecting everyone involved and changing them forever.

This movie explores darker side of human relationships and how they affect everyone around them.It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kiron Kher and Arjun Rampal in supporting roles. The film is slated for late 2006 release.
