Air : Karnataka has five functional airports at Hubli, Mysore, Belgaum, Mangalore and Bangalore. Apart from the Domestic flights, Bangalore and Mangalore Airport operates flights to international destinations.

Rail: Karnataka is well networked by Indian railway and is connected to almost all parts of India. Major railway stations in Karnataka are Bangalore, Mysore, Belguam, Bellary, Mangalore, Tumkur, Harihar, Dharwad, Gulbarga and Bijapur.

Local Transport
Karnataka claims an improving local transport network for getting around different tourist destinations in the state conveniently.

Bus: Most of the places in Karnataka are well connected with KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Service as well as private bus services. National Highways No. 4 and No. 13 are the two major highways. KSRTC with about 110 bus stations operates its services to all villages in the state which have motorable roads. It operates 5100 schedules with 5400 vehicles.

Rented Vehicles : One can avail Cars or Auto rickshaw services for rent in which the latter is the most cheapest and convenient mode of transport. Many travel agencies offer cars for hire as well as for rent. One can find auto rickshaw stands near most of the tourist spots and also at airports, railway stations and bus stands.
