Ram Niwas Garden(Ram Niwas Bagh), located in the heart of Jaipur city
is built by Swai Ram Singh II in 1868. Sprawl over 33 acres of land, this
lush spacious garden surrounded by pools, fountains and rows of flowerbeds
houses a bird park, zoo, Albert hall museum, Ravindra Manch Theatre, and
several cafes and picnic spots. The bird park is occupied with birds like
ducks, goose, white peacock, chattering lorry, parrot and pheasant, pelicans,
painted storks, black-necked storks, white ibis and cranes. Crocodile
farm is the major attraction of the zoological garden which is the home
to varieties of animals like lion, tiger, white tiger, leopard , panther,
spotted deer, sambhar deer, alligators, crocodiles, tortoise, fox, jackal,
hyena, brown, black , red bear etc. Ravindra Manch theatre is a performing
art theatre with an auditorium, a modern art gallery and an open air theatre.
