Chavakkad Beach, situated 5 Kilometers from Guruvayoor Temple Sri
Krishna Temple on the coast of Arabian Sea is one of the popular
beaches in Kerala. Renowned for its pristine water and fishing, the surroundings
of this virgin beach is scintillating. Fringed shadow of coconut lagoons
and the mesmerizing atmosphere make Chavakkad Beach a tourist spot throughout
the year. Filled with natural beauty, the beach is famous for the Azhimukam
or estuary, the place where the sea confluence with the river.
Ramachapadam, a vast farmland of the Ayurvedic herb, Ramacham is located
on the other side of the beach.
