Seethathode is a village situated about 20 km from Pathanamthitta district. A large part of the village is covered with forests which comes under the authority of Ranni Forest Division. The power generating station of Kerala State Electricity Board called Kakkad Power House is located at Seethathode. Moozhiyar dam is the nearby attraction.
