Air :
The Vadodara Airport or Civil Airport Harni is located 8kms north east
of the city. The metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata
and Chennai are well connected to Vadodara with multiple daily flights.
Air India, Jet Airways, Indigo Airlines, Kingfisher Airlines are some
airlines that have daily flights from Vadodara.
Rail:
Vadodara has three railway stations namely Vadodara Junction (BRC), Makarpura
and Vishwamitri. Belongs to the western railway, Vadodara railway junction
is a major station on the Mumbai-Delhi and Mumbai-Ahmedabad route. All
major trains including expresses have a stop here.
Taxis, auto rickshaws, cycle rickshaws and city Bus Service are available
at the railway stations.
Road:
National Highway 8 passes through Vadodara which connect it to the cities
of Delhi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Indian National Expressway 1, a stretch
of 97 km Super Highway with only 2 exits connects Ahmedabad with this
city. Vadodara Bus Station operated by Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation
(GSRTC) lies a few minutes walk from the Vadodara railway station. From
here, there are regular bus services to all important places in the state.
Inter state bus services are available to the neighboring states.
