How to Reach Daman & Diu:

Diu is 763 kms away from Daman. Daman and Diu are actually two parts, both on the sea side (Arabian sea) and both enclosed by Gujarat. Daman is near Surat in the South of Gujarat  while Diu is near Junagadh in the Saurashtra Peninsula of Gujarat. Daman is a small part in the Gulf of Khambhat (Cambay) while Diu is an island joined to the mainland of Gujarat by a creek. 

Diu

By Air:

Diu has a domestic airport. Jet Airways operate regular flight from Mumbai to Diu (except Sunday).

By Rail:

Nearest railway station to Diu is Veraval about 90 km. It provides onward connection to Ahmedabad, Mumbai and other cities.

Daman

By Air:

Daman has no any domestic airport. Nearest airport is Mumbai (193 Km), operating both domestic and international flights.

By Rail:

Vapi is the nearest railhead to Daman (13 km) between Mumbai and Surat. All major express trains have stoppage at Vapi station. The Mumbai – Delhi railway line passes through this station. Another nearby station is Valsad Junction, just about 35 Km from Daman.

By Road:

Daman is well connected by roads. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway No. 8 connects Daman with Vapi (13kms) and other parts of the country. Ahmedabad is 365 kms away, Mumbai 193 kms and Panaji, capital of Goa is 787 kms away from Daman.
