After the great success of Classmates, Lal Jose’s new film with Sreenivasan in the lead has been titled 'Arabi Kadha'. The film will have a Chinese actress Chang Shu Min, playing opposite him. 

The film deals with the problems faced by Pravasi Malayalis and their fight for justice. The labour camps in Dubai are set as the back drop of the movie. 'Arabi Kadha' points out the hardships faced by the immigrants. Sreenivasan is characterized as a leftist who has a mind and the courage to raise his voice for the immigrants.

The cast includes Samvritha Sunil, Jagathi Sreekumar, Indrajeet, Jayasurya and Salim Kumar. Hussain under the banner of Micro Coms produces the film. The script is by Iqbal Kuttipuram and cinematography by Manoj Pillai. Biji Paul composes the music with lyrics by Anil Pachooran. Themed on the backdrop of labour camps, the film was exclusively shot in Dubai from mid Feb. The film will be ready for release on July 5.
