Keibal Lamjao National park

This park was set up in the year1975 at Keibul Lamjao, 10 km from Moirang Bazar, Bishnupur district. Spread over an are of 40sq.km, it is located in the districts of Imphal and Bishnupur. Moirang is the nearest town from the park and Imphal, the capital of Manipur is 50 km. away. Dimapur is the railhead, 265km away and Julilal is the nearest airport 45km away from the park. Inner Line Permit is required for outer domicile person and Foreigners to visit the park.

The fauna of the park comprise Brow antlered deer (sangai), hog deer, wild goat, leopard cat, fishing cat and water birds.

Sirohi National park

Sirohi National park was established in 1982 in the east district in an area of 41sq.km.The nearest town in Ukhril at a distance of 5km. The nearest airport is Julilal 50km from the park. The railhead serving the park is at Dimapur at a distance of 270kms. The fauna includes tiger and leopard. The birds mainly found include tragopans and pheasants.
